  1. In the past Epson’s worked well with Linux, any information is appreciated, I use a mix of distro,s but mainly a Fedora based one right now. Thanks.

  2. Hi great video, well presented.
But I note you did not answer @B.Hillsdon as had corrected a big error and very important when one is choosing a printer for longevity of prints ie pigmant based. Only the black is Pigment based in these printers.
With this in mind perhaps you could mention why only black is a pigment ink as I dont see its value in colour photos which will fade at some point especially in sunshine. (While I like youtube l and understand the constant subcribe subbscribe ) But for me when one contributes to help others
and get no reply that equates to no subscripion. !

The other issue is according to Epson No (WHITE) ET-8550 printers have ever been made. Yet you nicely display both models together and clearly a difference in paper size of the A3 is seen. Another youtuber got this wrong showing a ET 8500 WHITE A4 printer but the video was about the ET8550.
Epson have been very unhelpful despite my mentioning of multiple sources ive seen white ET-8550 Printers.
Im fed up with canon printers – great at first but fail after two years having to throw a perfectly good printer away as the fault codes are ridiculous lack of information, not user friendly on replacing inkpads etc. One should easily ba able to do this without taking trhe printer apart. Not ECO at all. So while it appears the ECO tanks have easy access to the maintenance tank i note Epson have put a chip on them NOT GOOD. But are easily accessble to change over and I note the cost of a new mainteance tank is about the cost of a ink bottle. So probably going to get the Epson ET-8550 BUT IN WHITE. Where does one get the a white ET-8550. The Epson agent was no help and buying from Epson show no white choice its an enigma.
Currently I can only get the ET 8500 IN BLACK.

  3. Excuse my ignorance but i really want to know if photo printers can also be used for printing documents. Im trying to find a printer that can print photos with good quality and also print documenta if needed. Thank you in advance for the answer
