I’m considering buying an encrypted flash drive. But I’m really concerned about hidden secondary functions.
Especially considering they store sensitive data along with your fingerprint lol
I have a USB solid state flash drive Move speed that I bought two years ago and it works very well. One year ago I bought a 2TB one and it came without installation software. I installed it with the 1TB one and it doesn’t recognize it. Can someone help me?
But don’t these still use “software” to gain access to the finger print functions? And I’ve seen where Verbatim finger print drive had a security flaw allowing you to use a password scanner to compromise the password for the software, which gave you access to the finger print option. Not sure your average person would go through the trouble, but it appears these are secure but only to a point.
