I just bought a 1T drive and after a couple of days, I’m already disgruntled. There are times when the drive takes forever to respond when I click on it. Several programs, including Audacity are having major issues. And my backup program is also experiencing errors. I’m sending it back and have bought another brand to replace it. Because of this, I’ve had to shut down my production for a client until the new drive arrives. Thoroughly pissed. And trust me, I’m a techie, so very experienced.
SanDisk! Problems with a product is one thing – and it happens. But bad client service is 1000% unacceptable. Based on the client’s choice – the product should be replaced or reimbursed.

I bought exactly the same ssd ,4TB size,1 year ago and my videos dissapeared the next day. The plan was to move all data from a external hdd which was too big and fragile for travelling.
I’ve had no issues yet. I won’t buy Toshiba or Samsung ever. I use my 2tb on holiday so it’s used heavily.
And these have SanDisk have great customer service, unlike others.
Those Samsung SSDs are shite! Try putting more than 100gb on it and you’ll see what I mean!
